Steel balls Hollow steel balls – lightweight and powerful

Our hollow steel balls are just in. Hollow balls are up to 90% lighter than solid bearings. The balls are so flexible, we can adapt them to your needs.

Properties:

  • Sample materials: 1.0616 (AISI: 1086), 1.3505 (AISI: 52100), 100Cr6, AISI S2

Special spheres Hollow stainless steel balls – semi-floating

One of the unique bene­fits of our hollow stain­less steel balls is they are so light com­pared to other products and they are also semi-floating. Typical appli­cations for hollow stain­less steel balls are valves, dosing systems or roll-on deo­dorant.

  • Diameter: 80 – 100 mm (ground precisely without visible seams)
  • Diameter: 10 – 1000 mm (slightly visible seams, high-gloss polish)

Plastic balls Hollow plastic balls – extremely light and good resistance to corrosion

Our especially light­weight (because they’re hollow on the inside) plastic poly­propy­lene balls are used mainly for cos­metics, e.g. in roll-on deo­dorants, or for valves and spray heads. Hollow balls are used as floating elements to reduce liquid evapo­ration.

Properties:

  • Material: PP (poly­propy­lene), PE (poly­ethy­lene) or PVDF (poly­vinyli­dene fluoride)
  • Properties: withstands corrosion and impact, heat resis­tant, floats on water, recyclable
  • From 8.00mm to 80.00mm diameter, up to 2,500mm for PE balls
  • From grade G1 to G3
